Daniel Piccon
Pedagogue, composer, musician. Born in 1979. First piano lessons at the age of 10. Two years later the contact with the drum set.
1997-1999 attendance at the music school in Kronach, there first contact with mallets and the percussion instruments of the orchestra and first television appearance.
1999 - 2004 studies at the Musikhochschule Nürnberg with Prof. Hermann Schwander and educational degree. There focus and postgraduate studies in Latin percussion, jazz vibraphone and drum set. Pedagogical activity already during his studies, at the Stein Music School, then also at the Burgthann Music Forum and in his own drum studio Feucht / Moosbach near Nuremberg. Musical activity in the past, with the salsa band "La Cascara" and assistant in the Bavarian Youth Orchestra. Current projects are the Global Shtetl Band, Time Bandits Big Band (with Joe Gallardo as a guest soloist) and his own project, "Marimba with Friends", which focuses on his compositions, which he performs in a duo with a cajon or in a trio with an additional Bass plays. He also takes part in the Amberg Symphony Orchestra. He is also very successful as a drum teacher at the Nuremberg Music School.
